Police are investigating an unusual robbery in Hiddenite.

Someone dressed in a burgundy burka walked into the People’s Bank at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, showed the teller a handgun and demanded money.

The robber then took off down N.C. 90 in a burgundy sport utility vehicle.

Authorities are looking into whether this bank robbery can be connected to one in Morganton.

An androgynously dressed person held up a bank there last week.

Officers aren’t sure whether they’re looking for a man or a woman in either case.

Police also think there is a good chance the burka burglar is working with at least one other person, a getaway driver.

=======================

A man or woman, a Muslim or not a Muslim; this is not the question. The question is that this Niqab is a real threat not only to our national security but to us as individuals.

In a previous article, I have warned about the danger of Niqab to our security. I also warned that this Niqab can be used as a cover for many crimes including bank robberies:

“How would I know as a citizen that this huge walking black bag is not hiding one of those criminals? How can I feel safe seeing such a bag next to me, while I am standing in line in a bank, or waiting for my kids in front of the school, or shopping in a store?... How can I feel safe while walking on any street, not knowing if inside such a bag, some sort of criminal is pointing a gun at me or others? How would I know that this is not a bomb walking on two legs?”

Today’s robbery proved me right.

The use of this Islamic weird dress is a real threat to our open society. How many crimes our society has to suffer before we realize how dangerous it is?

This niqab must be banned. As a concerned citizen, I hereby raise my voice warning all parents to keep close eye on their kids when they see any person wearing a Niqab. I warn them to be careful if they see such a person while heading toward their cars in a parking lot, day or night. Have the camera ready whenever you see a person wearing this suspicious dress because you might be witness of a crime!

Hoaloween is coming soon, and when you see someone wearing this black bag, you will not be able to know if this is a trick or treat or simply a trick; a trick that may cost you a child!
